Today, we are delighted to express our utmost gratitude for the fruitful meetings held in Chinsali as we embark on an exciting journey toward the Muchinga 2023 Expo. 1️⃣ On 10th July 2023, we had the privilege of paying a courtesy call to the office of the Permanent Secretary. During this meeting, we engaged in a productive dialogue about our shared goals of developing the province through the African Birds Eye chilli out-grower project. We also had the opportunity to discuss our foundation's long-term strategic vision, which involves the establishment of a state-of-the-art chilli processing plant. This processing plant will play a pivotal role in adding value to the cash crops and opening new avenues for economic growth in the region.
2️⃣ Subsequently, we met with the esteemed Investment Liaison Committee for the Muchinga 2023 Expo. This gathering provided us with an excellent platform to further elaborate on the partnership between our foundation and the provincial administration, facilitated by MC Group Holdings. The meeting witnessed the presence of influential personalities, including the Deputy Permanent Secretary and their team from the Provincial Planning Unit (PPU), delegates from the Ministries of Community Development and Social Services, Agriculture, Labor, Local Government, and the House of Chiefs. Together, we engaged in comprehensive discussions on how we can synergize our efforts and work collaboratively as partners to unlock the immense potential of the province.
3️⃣ As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we also had the honour of paying a courtesy call to His Royal Highness Senior Chief Nkula. During our meeting, we held constructive conversations regarding the allocation of land for the establishment of the chili processing plant. We are immensely grateful to Senior Chief Nkula for his generosity in providing us with the necessary land for this noble project. This invaluable support from the community leaders further reinforces our belief in the transformative power of partnerships.
